The Association of Camp Inmates in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Association of Camp Inmates in Bijeljina-Janja, together with the Majlis of the Islamic Community of Janja, and the Association of Demobilized Soldiers of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina will mark the 34th anniversary of the Batković camp, where, according to the Association of Camp Inmates, more than 3,000 Bosniaks and Croats were detained, while between 70 and 80 people were killed.

No one has been held accountable for the crimes committed in this camp so far. A case was brought against three guards before the District Court in Bijeljina, but the responsibility of those who organized and managed the camp has never been established.
