Chairman of Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina Zeljko Komsic sent a telegram of condolences to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Bosnia-Herzegovina on the death of Juan Marie Tintore, honorary citizen of the City of Sarajevo and honorary president of the Royal Tennis “Club Real Club de Tennis Barcelona 1899”.
“It was with great sadness that I received the news of the death of Mr. Juan Marie Tintore. Mr. Tintore was a great friend of Sarajevo and Bosnia-Herzegovina. I had the opportunity to speak with him last year and thank him for all he and the Kingdom of Spain did. Through his dedication and great love for our city, Mr. Tintore contributed to the development of tennis sport in Sarajevo and helped equip young tennis players, making Sarajevo the only city in the region to which the European Tennis Association awarded the first tennis category,” said Komsic.
Because of his actions and uniqueness, we will forever remember him, and his departure is a great loss for all of us. I extend my sincere condolences to his family and friends, on behalf of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and on his own behalf, said Komsic.
