Extra Muros Competition Program of the 8th Pravo Ljudski Film Festival Begins

pravo_ljudskiThe extra muros competition program of the 8th Human Rights Film Festival will start today at 16:15 with the screening of the film “No Man’s Land” of Salomé Lamas from Portugal.  After this film, there will be three more screenings of the following films: “CROP” by Johanna Domke, Marouan Omara from Egypt, “To The Wolf’ by Christina Koutsospyrou and Aran Hughes and the film “The Mayor” by Emiliano Altuna Fistolera, Carlos Federico Rossini and Diego Osorno from Mexico.

Christina Koutsospyrou and Aran Hughes are the guests of the 8th Human Rights Film Festival and the audience will have the opportunity to speak to them after the film. Also, after the film “CROP” there will be a discussion with one of the directors of the film Johanna Domke.

The retrospective program “We film our bruises as if cinema were a revolution” is dedicated to film collectives. Sarajevo War Theater will host screenings of cult films by Medvedkine group at 16:15, and after the film a discussion with producers Inger Servolin and Jasmin Sijerčić will take place.

Re-versus selection of the world’s best documentaries will show the films “Cry Tears of Happiness” of Jari Kokko from Finland, “I think this is the closest to how the footage looked”, of Yuval Hameiri from Israel, and “My House Without me” by Magdalena Szymkow from Poland.
