Israeli Forces withdrew from Khan Younis

Israeli forces withdrew from Khan Younis in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, leaving behind ruins.

After the attacks on the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7 last year, Israeli forces, which began a ground invasion on October 27, withdrew from some parts of Gaza City.

The Israeli bombardment, which lasted for weeks, turned the city’s neighborhoods into piles of rubble.

On January 26, following a genocide lawsuit filed by the Republic of South Africa, the International Court of Justice ruled that Israel must refrain from any actions related to the killing, attacks and destruction of the residents of the Gaza Strip and take all measures to prevent genocide.

Attacks, however, continue unabated, and the delivery of aid remains insufficient to address the humanitarian disaster.

The number of Palestinians killed in the deadly offensive for genocide accused by Israel on the Gaza Strip since October 7 last year has increased to 31,272, the Ministry of Health of the Palestinian enclave announced on Wednesday, AA writes.
