US Embassy to BiH: Those who do not respect the Decision of the Constitutional Court must be held responsible for it!

embassyFailure to comply with the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH is a violation of the rule of law, and those who do that, must be held responsible for it, as said in the Office of Public Affairs of the Embassy of the United States (US) on the eve of today’s celebration of unconstitutional Day of the RS, the 9th of January, in Banja Luka.

They said that “this is not about the holiday, but the rule of law”.

“The United States support the existence and status of the RS and the FBiH in the framework of a sovereign BiH, as it is guaranteed by the Dayton Peace Agreement,” stated from the Office of Public Affairs of the US Embassy in BiH.

They stressed that it is “irresponsible to put the Armed Forces of BiH in the center of this issue.”

“Unification of the Armed Forces of BiH (AF BiH) in 2005 is one of the most important and successful reforms that took place in BiH since Dayton, and it is the evidence of what people in BiH can achieve when they work together. We call on all parties to demonstrate responsible leadership, to refrain from sharpened rhetoric and respect the chain of command in the Armed Forces of BiH,” concluded from the US Embassy in Sarajevo.
