Humanitarian number 1411was activated on Sunday to raise funds for the procurement of robotic-assisted rehabilitation equipment for children with movement disorders. Only last night , the number was called over 72,000 times during a donor’s evening at the Banja Luka Cultural Center in Banja Luka, and 1.4 million BAM was collected.

The citizens spoke on the phone with President of Republika Srpska Zeljka Cvijanovic, RS Prime Minister Radovan Viskovic, Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic, President of the RS National Assembly Nedeljko Cubrilovic, and Ministers of Republika Srpska and Serbia Governments. Mayors and representatives of the cities and municipalities of Republika Srpska, as well as representatives of the cultural, public, social and academic life of RS and Serbia answered the calls as well.

Young artists from different parts of BiH sang, danced, played, and made a great contribution because they had fun with children from the audience.

The event was attended by composer and author of children’s Minja Subota shows, Serbian basketball player Dejan Bodiroga, actress Sloboda Micalovic, singer Neda Ukraden, as well as actor Nikola Pejakovic.

Government of Serbia donated 250,000 euros.

In Republika Srpska, between150 and 200 children per year have a need for intensive physical treatment using robotics.

BiH Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik stressed the importance of maintaining a humanitarian action “With love to brave Hearts”, as it is evident that there are many more children to help.

From December 6th, 2018 until January 7th, 2019, the humanitarian number 1411 will be active by which people can donate 1 BAM for this purpose.

Also, donations can be made with a cash payment to the number 571-010-00002700-15 at Komercijalna banka a. D. Banja Luka.
