10th Jubilee Meeting of Banja Luka’s “Vezeni Most 2013” Begins on 2 July

Banja_lukaThe Community Association of Citizens of Banja Luka will organize meetings of people from Banja Luka called “Vezeni Most” from 2-6 July.

As part of the program of this manifestation, there will be cultural-entertainment events, sport-recreational, economic-development and information program activities, which have become traditional.

As part of the cultural-entertainment program, there will be a laying of flowers at the memorial plaque of the Banja Luka poet Nasiha Kapidžić- Hadžić, and the participation of the winner of the Literature Award “Nasiha Kapidžić-Hadžić-Vezeni most”, for the author opus in poetry for children: Enisa Osmančević- Ćurić, Šime Ešića, Ismet Bekrić, Ranko Pavlović i Kemal Coce.

The Community Association of citizens of Banja Luka is organizing an exhibition of prints of Kemal Širbegović, and on the eve of the opening ceremony, there will be a performance of the opera “Safikada”, music and theatrical pieces, which were composed by Professor Muharem Insanić.

There is also planned a traditional music-poetry night called ‘Vezani Most’, promotion of books, monographs and periodicals, and a play for children “Početak-eto, šta je na kraju“.

Participants could also lay flowers and light a candle at the grave of Safikada, and with the appropriate music-poetic program where the memorial lies could evoke the legend of the girl.

In addition to the cultural-entertainment events, there will be a traditional gathering of diaspora and sports-recreational activities.
