Forto pointed out that the police are doing their job at full capacity with the involvement of other police agencies.
“Every threat is taken completely seriously and will be so in the future,” said Forto, adding that in such situations, it is important that everyone stays calm and that everyone does their job.
He added that similar reports had recently taken place in the region, and police would inform the public when they had more information.
“As you have heard, these are reports of allegedly bombs in primary schools and one part of secondary schools. That is approximately 110 school buildings, all primary and approximately half of secondary schools,” said Sarajevo Canton Minister of Education Naida Hota-Muminovic, adding that there are 18,000 students in the first shift.
She pointed out that they had taken all the prescribed steps, that the students and teaching staff had left the school buildings immediately, and that after the KDZ inspection, the principals would make decisions on the teaching regime.
“We expect that the KDZ examinations will be completed today and that the teaching process will be normalized tomorrow,” the minister added.
Police Commissioner of the CS Ministry of the Interior, Nusret Selimovic, said that in cooperation with several police agencies, they are intensively reviewing all facilities that received e-mails with threatening content.
“This morning, an emergency meeting was held in the premises of the CS Prosecutor’s Office, which was attended by representatives of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office and representatives of the Federal Police Administration and the CS Ministry of Interior Police Administration,” said Selimović and added that the Federal Police Administration under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office will be the bearer of activities aimed at clarifying and identifying the perpetrators or perpetrators of this crime.
He added that in the morning they had two more reports of bombs, which are not related to this case, and which referred to the building of the Center Municipality and the Government of Sarajevo Canton and the building of the Municipal Court. According to him, inspections of the mentioned buildings are underway.
He pointed out that this type of crime is quite difficult to shed light on, and that one of the basic problems is the fact that “prepaid” cards can be bought at store without any identification document.
