The police officers of the State Agency for Investigation and Protection are in cooperation with the police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, on October 7, 2026. under the supervision of the acting prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, carried out the international operational action “Gambit” during which 12 kilograms of the narcotic drug cocaine were discovered and temporarily confiscated, and one person, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, was deprived of his liberty.
The aforementioned activities are the result of several months of work by SIPA police officers, which was directed against members of the organized crime group from the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who participated in the planning, organization and carrying out of the illegal traffic of narcotic drugs in several countries of the European Union and the Republic of Turkey, according to the statement.
