The 12th Bosnian Memorial “Mustafa Hajrulahović Talijan” Open

Yesterday evening, the 12^th International Memorial Boxing Torunament “Mustafa Hajrulahović Talijan” was open with the participation of fighters from 11 countries.

This traditional tournament is organized in memory of Mustafa Hajrulahović, general of the 1^st corpus of the Army of B&H who contributed greatly to the defence of Sarajevo and B&H.

Before the Memorial started, the organizers and participants of the competition placed flowers at the general’s grave in the harem of the Ali-paša’s Mosque.

The two days tournament, taking place at the Dom mladih and organized by the boxing club “Zlatni ljiljani” was solemnly open by the member of the Presidency of B&H and the president of the Organization board, Željko Komšić.

18 semi-final fights were at the program yesterday evening while the finals with 13 fights were held today at 11:00 o’clock.
