Military Envoy of the Republic of Romania to Bosnia and Herzegovina meets with Major General Ivica Jerkic

The Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Operations, Major General Ivica Jerkic, received the inaugural visit of the Military Envoy of the Republic of Romania to BiH, Brigadier Robertino Christian Ciobanu, and also, in a farewell visit Brigadier Bogdan Ionescu.

During the visit, the current cooperation of the Armed Forces of the two friendly countries was discussed, as well as the need to improve future cooperation in all areas where there are capacities for that in Romania and BiH. General Jerkic thanked the current military envoy, Brigadier Ionescu, for the achieved results in terms of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, and wished the newly appointed military envoy, Brigadier Cioban, successful work in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The outgoing Romanian military envoy Ionescu and the newly appointed Brigadier Ciobanu were received at the BiH Ministry of Defense headquarters by Assistant Defense Minister for International Cooperation Zoran Sajinovic.
