The Head of the Office for Hajj and Umrah in Islamic Community of BiH Nezim Halilovic said in an interview for Fena that all necessary preparations for the departure of the Hajj in 2019 were completed. An easing circumstance is that the visas were done electronically.
“The price of the hajj is the same as last year, but it does not depend on us, but from the price in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are trying to improve the stay of our believers, which implies a rise in prices,” he said.
Accommodation and food for all pilgrims will be provided in hotels in Medina and Mecca.
The Hajj, sometimes spelt Haj, is the annual pilgrimage to Mecca that Muslims are expected to make at least once in their lifetime.
They must be of sound mind and physically and financially capable of undertaking the journey. Those who complete the pilgrimage can add the title Hajji to their names.
