300 Million Euros Worth Project: Is the Turkish ‘Milksa’ Going to Build 1 000 Goat Farms in B&H?

The mayor of the town of Mostar Ljubo Bešlić and the head of department for economy, communal and inspection activity of Mostar Omer Pajić received today at the City Hall the representatives of the Turkish company ‘Milksa’ – was communicated from the PR Office of the town of Mostar.

The general manager of the company, Mehmet Yildiram presented to the mayor and his partners their plan to invest into building one thousand farms of goats for milk production purposes. Mostar is, they stated, one of the places where to invest.

The representative of this Turkish company Aybar Ulcuka said that this project is worth around 300 million Euros while each farm which should be equipped would have around 150 goats and the entire production of cheese and milk would be exported.

The project should be implemented in the next five years. Around 7 500 persons should be employed.

Mayor Bešlić pointed out that the town of Mostar is interested in implementing this project in Mostar as well because there is a strong need for encouraging the rural development and that the local government will do everything necessary to effectuate this project.

At the meeting it was decided that the town should receive a letter containing precise details about the whole project so that steps could be made towards offering land and factory for processing diary products etc.
