70th anniversary of the liberation of Zenica in World War II

70 years ago, on 12th of April 1945, Partisan units broke the resistance of the fascist occupiers and liberated Zenica.

In honor of that, Citizens of Zenica laid flowers today at the memorial “Papirna“.

Flowers were laid by representatives of the Association of anti-fascists and veterans of Zenica, the Association of Veterans of ZDK, the City of Zenica, Association of Josip Broz Tito and the Municipal Board DF – Željko Komšić.
