Eight years ago, the then twenty-four-year-old Tadija Saric went on a business trip to China, not realizing that this would become the country of his dreams and exceptional opportunities and that he would return to it very soon, not as a tourist but as a future resident.
This is the story of Tadija Saric, a young entrepreneur from Vitez, who eight years ago decided to challenge his destiny in distant China, daring to start his own business, after he had just returned from his first business trip.
“Working at FIS, as a commercialist, and then as a brand manager, I got the opportunity to go to China for the first time, where I quickly saw the huge potential that this country offers. Even though I was still relatively young at the time, I was sure that I could achieve business success, although many people around me were skeptical and considered my ideas pure youthful delusion,” Tadija Saric begins his story.
“Almost a decade after the first beginnings, I am happy that, above all, I proved to myself that my instincts were on the right track. After moving to China, in 2014, I began to explore my own “Silk Road”. I founded the Tadex group in the same year,” Saric stated.
Today, the Tadex group is focused on establishing a global commercial and logistics network, the goal of which is to respond safely, efficiently, and in a short time to the needs of clients in the sphere of procurement, sales, and delivery of products and services on international markets.
“I am proud to say that we have an exclusive contract with Maersk, a large logistics company dating back to 1904. Today we have offices in Hong Kong, Yiwu, Budapest, and Vitez. Also, this year, Tadex Trade established its first representative office in the United States (U.S.) in the city of Delaware. Tadex Logistika d.o.o. Vitez was primarily formed because of small and large entrepreneurs. Our task is to solve all problems related to the import of goods. Therefore, we also turned to collective transport, which helped small entrepreneurs to import directly and cheaply from China,” Saric points out.
He is happy that he has the opportunity to transfer and share the acquired knowledge and connections with new and young entrepreneurs, with those who are just building their path.
When asked what his working day looks like, Saric answers:
“I wake up at 7 am, and at 8 am I’m already at Chinese language class. After class, I go to a nearby restaurant that serves Turkish food, which I like, especially bread and sweets. Bread does not normally exist in Chinese cuisine. After breakfast, I hurry to the office to load the goods, and the office normally looks at the Yiwu Market, from where the goods go to all parts of the world. The building itself is 5 kilometers long, and it houses 75.000 wholesale shops, that is mini-factories.
In a place like this, one feels extremely big and extremely small at the same time, and I can rightly say that the Chinese are very disciplined, cultured, and orderly, I admire their work ethic, and anyone who wants to feel the spirit of business China can contact us. We will be happy to host and, if necessary, help with the organization and preparation of the trip, as well as the creation of the invitation letter that is necessary for arrival in China (VISA guarantee). Because, who knows, sometimes you have to come all the way to China to get your dreams,” Tadija Saric concluded with a smile, Biznis Info reports.
