In the East Sarajevo, one of the protests in support of the President of BiH is taking place in the entity Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik. Some of those present also brought flags with the image of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
At the moment, several hundred people have gathered at the protests in Lukavica, and among them are the politicians Staša Košarac, Radovan Višković and Ljubiša Ćosić.
Protests are organized in four municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina entity Republika Srpska on the inter-entity line, and the indictment brought against Milorad Dodik by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina was cited as the reason.
The Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs rejected the request of the “Committee for the Protection of the Rights of Serbs in the Federation of BiH” to organize a protest in front of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The organizers had previously announced that there would be a suspension of traffic, to which the federal authorities replied that under no circumstances should it happen because it would mean a violation of the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Dayton Peace Agreement, Klix.ba reports.
