The Association of the Palestinian Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina announced today in Sarajevo a gathering of support for the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
The gathering in Sarajevo will be held on the plateau opposite the City Hall from 11 am to 1 pm, and the Palestinian Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina invites citizens to bring Palestinian flags and banners.
“We feel great support in Bosnia and Herzegovina, from all the citizens and peoples of this friendly country, and once again we invite the citizens to join us on Sunday, October 22, at a large rally for peace in Palestine, and against terrorism and the aggression of the Israeli occupying power,” they stated from the Palestinian community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Gaza is experiencing a severe humanitarian crisis with no electricity, while water, food, fuel and medical supplies are running out.
The fighting began when Hamas launched multiple surprise attacks on October 7 that included numerous rocket attacks and incursions into Israel by land, sea and air. Hamas said the raid was in retaliation for earlier raids on the Al-Aqsa mosque and an increase in violence by Israeli settlers.
In response, the Israeli army launched an operation against Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, which took on the dimensions of indiscriminate bombing of civilian objects, residential buildings, mosques, churches, and hospitals.
4,385 people died in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, officials of the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced yesterday. Among those killed in Israeli attacks were 1,756 children.
