An anonymous tip was sent to the Czech police about five bombs placed at Vaclav Havel Airport in Prague, but after examination it was found to be fake.
“An unknown person reported in English that he placed five bombs at Vaclav Havel Airport in Prague. Security measures have been taken and passengers have been asked to be patient and follow police instructions,” the police announced on the “X” social network.
The police state that the procedures related to the bomb threat have been completed, that no explosive devices were found at the airport and that the search for the unknown perpetrator continues.
Specially trained forces were engaged in the search for the perpetrator.
