A strong Earthquake measuring 7.1 hit Philippines

A strong earthquake measuring 7.1 on the Richter scale hit the southwestern region of Sangay in the Philippines today.

The earthquake occurred in Moro Bay, south of Mindanao, at a depth of 620 kilometers, around 2:13 a.m. local time, the United States Geological Survey said.

There are currently no reports of casualties or damage.
