The ultramarathoners who started the marathon from Vukovar arrived in Srebrenica, and this is the 11th time that the message of peace, tolerance, coexistence and unity has been conveyed in this way.
The ultramarathoners said that they feel sad and that it is difficult to get to Potocari.
Boban Pantovic, an ultramarathon runner from Belgrade, says that he participated for the first time last year, but on the fifth section from Zvornik to Potocari, and that he felt the need to come this year and start from the beginning.
“Running this ultramarathon, we came across the road where a housemate died and we felt terrible emotions, especially when it comes to human life. These tragedies that happened in these beautiful areas of ours are the tragedies of all tragedies. Simply in my personal name, I express a prayer that will be my eternal guide that there will never be a war anywhere. It is important that we do not allow such tragedies to be forgotten, that in addition to all this, everyone finds the strength within themselves for tolerance and that it is simply not coexistence but to live normally Pantovic said.
He says that they ran the ultramarathon with the motto that there will never be a war anywhere and that now Ukraine is happening, which is close and that anyone who thinks it is far away is mistaken, Klix.ba writes.
