After the shutdown of the Wizz Air base, Tuzla Airport is desperately trying to attract a new company.
The director of the Montenegrin airline Air Montenegro, Mark Anzur, is going to a meeting in Tuzla, where he will discuss the company’s potential flights from Tuzla, Zamaaero reported.
Tuzla is desperate after the cancellation of the Wizz Air base and the drastic reduction in the number of routes of this company, so it tries to compensate for Wizz Air’s departure in every way.
Montenegro Airlines flew the Tuzla-Vienna route for a short time and unsuccessfully. Air Montenegro has a problem with flights from Tuzla because it does not have a BiH AOC, and it is not a European Union (EU) company, so for such flights, Tuzla must ensure the seventh freedom of the air.
The Tuzla-Podgorica or Tuzla-Tivat lines have no chance of success, even with high subsidies.
