Air Serbia canceled Night Flights from Belgrade to Sarajevo

Air Serbia has canceled numerous flights, including night flights that were supposed to be operational from June 12 to Sarajevo.

Night flights to Sarajevo have been completely canceled and there will be no flights this season, while there will be seven daily flights in the second midday wave, without a single night flight, writes Zamaaero.

On May 26, Air Serbia added night flights to its system, which is 18 days before the first flight, which was supposed to take place on June 12. However, a few days ago, those flights were extended from July 1, and now they have been completely canceled.

Two days ago, six flights from Belgrade were cancelled, including those to Athens, Vienna, Thessaloniki and Florence. After complaints from passengers about flight cancellations, this airline also announced that the reasons for the flight cancellations were “a growing number of unfavorable factors”, above all, they say, “the later entry into the fleet of certain planes that were planned, as well as the later exit from the works several aircraft due to a slowed global spare parts supply chain”.

“In the coming days, there may be a change in the type of aircraft that is planned for the flight, delays and even cancellations of certain flights. However, the competent services of the Serbian national airline are continuously adjusting the traffic to the existing resources so that there are as few deviations as possible and that the traffic is carried out as much as possible more in line with the planned flight schedule,” the airline said.

They added that they are doing everything in their power to normalize traffic.
