Saudi clubs Al-Nassr and Neom have started a serious fight for the signature of talented midfielder Abdul Malik Al-Jaber, currently a member of the Sarajevo-based Football Club Željezničar, Asharq Al-Awsat has learned from reliable sources.
The footballer has one more year left on his contract with the Grbavica team, and the interest of Saudi clubs is becoming increasingly intense.
According to information from the Arab media, Željezničar could collect around 10 million Saudi riyals (around 4.6 million BAM) through this transfer, while Al-Jaber would earn around 20 million riyals per year (around 9.6 million BAM) in his new club, with a four-year contract.
Of particular interest is the fact that Neom recently achieved promotion to the highest tier of Saudi football – the Saudi Pro League, after finishing the 2026 season at the top of the Saudi Arabian First League.
