On Wednesdays morning, the athletic representation of BIH will travel to Prague where from 6th until 8th March, the 33rd European Indoor Championships, will be held.
The main aim of the BH representatives on the EP will be to qualify in the finals. According to the current form, Amel Tuka has the best chances to do so.
“I know that my colleagues and everyone else expects me to do well. I am satisfied with the form, the most important is that I am healthy and that I feel good and that I will do everything to present my city and BiH”, said Tuka.
He added that he won the gold medal on the recent Balkan Championship, but said that the two competitions are not comparable.
“Balkan Games where I won gold is not at the level of European competition, but I will certainly do my best”, said Tuka.
Opportunity to qualify for the finals will have the best “bowlers” of BiH as well.
Mesic will travel to Prague with the best score of the season 19.80 m, while the European indoor vice champion from 2013 in Goteborg Hamza Alic has a somewhat weaker result – 19.65 m.
