Ambassador Casey Visits Donja Gradina Memorial Site

British Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, HE Nigel Casey, visited the Donja Gradina Memorial Site yesterday where together with the Director of the site, Mr Milorad Bukva, he paid tribute to the victims killed at that location during the World War II, announced the British Embassy to BiH.

 Ambassador Casey said, “I wanted to take the opportunity to visit Donja Gradina to pay my respects to the many thousands who lost their lives in this place. I had to be in London on 12 May so I was unable to be here for the annual commemoration. The terrible history of this place is a permanent reminder of what can happen when hatred and extremism are allowed to go unchecked.”
