Amel Tuka won the second Place

Amel Tuka EPAYesterday, in the qualifying race in 800 meters, Bosnian best athlete, Amel Tuka, won the second place!

With this race, he reached the semifinals of the European Indoor Championships in Athletics which will be held in Belgrade.

Tuka run in the second qualifying race in which he finished second with a time of 1: 49.84 minutes and directly qualified for the semifinals. The winner in Tuka’s group was the Czech Jan Kubista with a time of 1: 49.21 minutes.

Semi-final race at 800 meters is on the program on Saturday, starting at 19:25 o’clock.

At the European Championship around 1,100 top athletes from 48 countries will compete in 26 disciplines. Bosnia and Herzegovina has three representatives – Amel Tuka, Mesud Pezer and Rusmir Malkočević.
