An earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale struck Herzegovina today at around 12:08 p.m.
According to initial data from the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center, the epicenter of the earthquake was 20 kilometers southwest of Mostar, or 13 kilometers north of Ljubuški, and was felt throughout Herzegovina.
So far, there is no information about material damage or injuries, and such earthquakes are not uncommon in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, given the seismically active soil.
