The list includes both well-known and almost anonymous titles.
In October, there were 76 films, and now the list has been shortened to nine. The five that will be nominated and which will compete for the Oscar will be known on 16 January, and the ceremony is scheduled for 2 March at Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
