The value of the planned export according to the issued permits was 257,027,210 euros, and the total value of the realized amount was 119,137,029 Euros.
These data are stated in the Report that arrived from the Council of Ministers to the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to established practice, the information is several years old, so this report also refers to the year 2019.
Out of a total of 50 countries in the world for which export licenses were issued, licenses were not implemented for Chad, India and Kazakhstan.
On the other hand, more than 65 percent of exports refer to Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
According to the structure of exported goods from the joint list of weapons and military equipment, 85 percent of exports refer to category ML3.
According to the mentioned list, ML3 includes ammunition for weapons ML1, ML 2 and ML 12 (smoothbore weapons of caliber less than 20 mm, other weapons and automatic weapons of 12.7 mm caliber; weapons of 20 mm caliber or larger, other weapons or weapons caliber greater than 12.7 mm and spring systems with high kinetic energy) and ammunition igniters.
It is not stated which companies are the producers of these weapons and equipment, but it is known that the dedicated industry of this type is concentrated mainly in the territory of FBiH.
At the same time, in the same period, nine applications for the issuance of a license for the source of weapons and military equipment from Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a total value of 4.9 million, were rejected. It was mainly about incomplete documentation that every exporter, according to the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, must have.
The end user of these goods should be Canada, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, China, Finland, Hungary and the USA, writes srpskainfo.com.
