At least 46 people were killed in airstrikes by the Israeli army on Lebanon in the last 24 hours, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced.
In the announcement of the Ministry on “X”, it was stated that 85 people were wounded.
According to the Ministry, the attacks were carried out on the capital Beirut, the city of Balbek and the governorates of Nabatieh, Saida and Tire, TASS reported.
Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adrae said they carried out precision strikes on the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Before the bombing, the Israeli army called on residents to evacuate, saying they were close to “Hezbollah facilities”.
Since September 23, Israel has launched massive airstrikes against “Hezbollah targets across Lebanon,” killing more than 1,000 and wounding more than 2,950 people.
The cross-border war between the Lebanese group Hezbollah and Israel began after the Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip, in which more than 41,600 people, mostly women and children, have been killed since October last year.
