The reason for his arrival is the promotion of his book “The Butcher’s Trail”, that was proclaimed by the international media as an important document on the history of relations of the International Criminal Tribunal in The Hague and the Balkan war criminals.
The promotion will be held on Thursday at SARTR.
From Buybook announced that former spokeswoman for the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, activist and author Florence Hartmann will also stay in Sarajevo on this occasion and, together with other participants of the promotion, Senada Kreso, Edina Becirevic, Haris Pasovic and Damir Uzunovic, she will participate in discussion with Julian Borger.
The long awaited Borger’s book “The Butcher’s Trail” appeared in Buybook’s edition a little more than a month ago, on the day of the verdict to Radovan Karadzic in The Hague.
“The Butcher’s Trail” is chronicle about the search for Balkan war criminals, indicted by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, and their capture. Borger tells how Radovan Karadzic and Ratko Mladic were found and he describes the intriguing details about the arrest of Slobodan Milosevic.
The book “The Butcher’s Trail”, translated by Senada Kreso, was included in Buybook’s library Memory, as announced from the Buybook.
