In two weeks, the head coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina football team, Sergej Barbarez, will publish an autobiography called “Kreisläufe” (“Circles” or “Cycles”), in which he will present his life story, from the early beginnings to the milestones that marked his life.
Barbarez announced the release of the book on the social network Instagram, where he published a photo of the cover of the autobiography with the subtitle Wie ein Krieg mein Leben veränderte (“How one war changed my life”).
The co-author of the book is Sebastian Wolff, and the publisher is the German publishing house Arete.
Announcing the autobiography in German and Bosnian, Barbarez said that for years he felt the need to tell his life story openly and without embellishment.
“Hours and hours of conversation are behind me. Conversations in which I opened my soul, revived memories and reawakened countless images and thoughts. My autobiography is coming out in two weeks. Why? Because I’ve been carrying the desire to tell my story for years. His whole story. About beginnings, detours and wrong turns, as well as about unexpected turns that changed my life forever. About the moments that shaped me, put me in front of challenges and sometimes pushed me to the very limits. It is a story of pain, pride and, above all, deep gratitude. That’s my story, with all its ups and downs. No embellishment. Honestly, from the bottom of my heart,” said Barbarez, Fena writes.
