Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović stressed today during a conversation with the Minister for Europe at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of France Benjamin Haddad that the attack on the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the foundations of the Dayton-Paris Peace Agreement is not over and is ongoing.
“Milorad Dodik is endangering the hard-won peace and security in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Such irresponsible and dangerous policies carry with them incalculable consequences, not only for Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also for the stability of the entire Western Balkans region. The Republic of France and other states that are witnesses to the Dayton-Paris Agreement should take urgent measures before Dodik and his associates provoke the destabilization of the entire region,” said Bećirović.
Minister for Europe at the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of France Benjamin Haddad said that France, as a witness to the Dayton-Paris Peace Agreement, firmly supports the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He stressed that it is important to protect the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina, peace and stability in our country.
Dodik’s policy, he stated, is dangerous and unacceptable.
The interlocutors expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of France to date, and emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation, with the aim of strengthening the stability, security and progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.
Bećirović particularly thanked the Republic of France for its continued support for Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path towards full membership in the EU and NATO.
