Becirovic congratulated the Prime Minister of Sweden on Accession to NATO

The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, congratulated the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden, Ulf Kristersson, after the country formally became the 32nd member of the NATO alliance.

“Membership of the Kingdom of Sweden in the NATO alliance will contribute to the preservation of security and stability in Europe and strengthen the mutual cooperation of member countries in overcoming geopolitical challenges,” said Bećirović.

He added that, in the pursuit of becoming a full member of the NATO alliance, Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue to build strong relations with all partner countries and contribute to strengthening security in Southeastern Europe.

“I hope that Bosnia and Herzegovina will become the 33rd member of NATO. In the belief that we will continue to develop cooperation in all areas of common interest and for the general benefit of the two countries, please accept, Your Excellency, the expressions of my personal respect,” said Bećirović , it was announced from the BiH Presidency.
