Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of France to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christine Toudic, and discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and the European path of our country.
Ambassador Toudic presented Bećirović with a congratulatory message sent by the President of the Republic of France, Emmanuel Macron, on the occasion of his election to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Bećirović thanked France for its support to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s European path, especially during the EU presidency and pointed out that the authorities in our country should focus on resolving the priorities of the European Commission in order to speed up the integration process of our country.
The interlocutors also discussed the intensification of economic cooperation between the two countries. Within this framework, they expressed the need to sign the Agreement on the establishment of the French Development Agency, which should provide economic and financial assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The officials agreed on the need to improve the study of the French language in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ambassador Toudic emphasized that France is committed to further help to BiH in all areas, especially in European integration, announced the Presidency of BiH.
