The famous BH designer Belma Tvico presented her new collection “Infinity” at this year’s Paris Fashion Week. The collection was presented at a showroom that is held in the luxury hotel chain The Westin Paris, where Belma shared the space with eminent brands such as Basil Soda, Christian Siriano, and Said Kobeisy.

The collection attracted a lot of attention, and especially influencers in the fields of fashion, music, art, and film. Belma agreed on the cooperation with the great French actress Julie Judd, who is remembered for her role in movies “Jackie”, “Don’t Panic”, “The Duchess of Langeais” and “Head in the clouds”. Judd also expressed a great desire to appear at the next Sarajevo Film Festival.

“Infinity” is a collection inspired by fluid futuristic forms and movements, which Belma passed on to fabrics with a lot of courage. In co-operation with the artist Taida Jasarevic, dedicated materials for spring/summer 2018 have been designed. The prints gave a new dimension to the patterns that make Tvico recognizable. In this collection, Belma made a slight shift from her usual designs and offered a new vision of sports elegance to her customers.

Key pieces in this collection are feminine dresses, fluttery pants that can be styled at different occasions, bomber jackets in funky prints and visions of business suits in brave colors for the confident woman of our time.

This collection represents a combination of architecture and modern art. The silhouette is a modern lady that combines street style and likes the contrasts of modernism and traditionalism. A lady wearing Belma Tvico’s design likes timeless dresses that are sensual; she dares to combine a casual style with a bold combination of colors, such as: cherry tomato, ultraviolet, spring crocus, lime punch, nude, sailor blue.

Materials used in the Infinity Spring / Summer 2018 collection are: organdine, viscose, muslin silk, brocade, crepe, etc.

The Ministry of Culture and Sports of CS and the City of Sarajevo recognized this project as an affirmation of BH fashion and the city of Sarajevo and they have supported it.
