The city administration in Trebinje responded positively and gave consent, reports the business portal Hecegovinapress.com.
Earlier, the consent was given by the Institute for Protection of Monuments of the Republika Srpska, which drew up the project of rehabilitation of the complex of Bey’s home which will be returned to its authentic look.
The building permit is issued as well.
Resulbegovic’s House was built in the hills on the right bank of the Trebišnjica River and represents one of the most important monuments of Ottoman architecture. Moreover, it represents a family house and a mansion built in two parts, one intended for men and other for women.
The house was built by hajji Omer – bey Resulbegovic, Hasan – bey son.
