
Head of the IMF Mission for B&H Van Rooden shared his observations on indicators that were observed during the visit to B&H. He pointed out that there are some weak points in both entities and unfortunately some reforms are stopped at the beginning of implementation. As a weak points, among others, he stressed the exchange of information between tax administrations, harmonization of excise on tobacco products, slow introduction of the system of agricultural holding in the RS, the law on budget in FB&H, law on inspections and other laws in B&H.
Interlocutors highlighted that in the upcoming period it is necessary to continue implementing structural reforms, which would ensure economic recovery of the country and would attract foreign investments.
IMF Resident Representative in B&H Ruben Atoyan attended the meeting, announced the B&H Council of Ministers.
