BH Juniors defeated the United States Selection

Junior selection of Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated their peers from the United States with the result 3:1, in a friendly match in Međugorje yesterday.

The guests started the match with the goal of Mukwelle Akale, but seven minutes later, Andrej Modić tied from the free kick.

In the second half, Toni Karačić’s selection achieved two more goals by Amer Gojak in 57^th minute and Kerim Memija in 63^rd minute.

‘’I am very pleased with our game today. We approached this match seriously and eventually won. I think we are a better team. I expect to win in the next match as well – said the captain of “U-19” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Andrej Modić, who plays as midfielder in Milan.

The scorer of third goal, Memija Kerim, said that the US team is very good, but that selection of B&H is better, which was eventually proven with the final score.

Now that we better met our opponents, I expect that we play the second match even better – said Memija.

BH selection will play another match with the selection of United States, on 30^th of April at the stadium Bare in Čitluk, said the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
