Tonight in Mejdan, Tuzla, the national basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina opens the second round of World Championship qualifiers with a match against Italy.
Tickets are sold out, a great atmosphere and top basketball are expected. Coach Dario Gjergja says about the duel with the Azzurri:
“We are playing against a phenomenal and complete national team that has two or three players in each position. Their outside line is one of the best in Europe in terms of shooting, I would say. We need to reduce them to a five-on-five game and try to take advantage of our strengths. First of all, we have to have game discipline.”
The head of the professional staff of our national team decided to send these 12 Dragons to the floor: Adin Vrabac, Amar Gegić, Aleksandar Lazić, Amar Alibegović, Adnan Arslanagić, Edin Atić, Darko Talić, Asim Gutić, Alija Islamović, Jusuf Nurkić, Kenan Kamenjaš and Luka Garza.
The meeting starts at 20:00.
