Since the beginning of 2021, members of the BiH Border Police have deterred more than 3,600 people from attempting to cross the state border illegally. "Since the very beginning of the migrant crisis, the BiH Border Police has been redeploying human resources and hiring police officers from other police agencies to parts of the border where the migratory pressure is greatest, and is performing increased surveillance of the state border," Galic said.
