At an extraordinary telephone session, the BiH Council of Ministers adopted the Program of Economic Reforms of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2023-2025 (PER BiH 2023-2025), proposed by the Directorate for Economic Planning.
The Economic Reforms Program 2023-2025 has been prepared according to the guidelines of the European Commission based on contributions submitted by the competent institutions at the state and entity level according to the Proposed Action Plan and was agreed upon with the entity coordinators.
The focus is on 25 reform measures within the framework of structural reforms that are recognized at all levels of government as significant for strengthening competitiveness and removing obstacles to the economic growth and development of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the three years. An integral part of the Reform Program is the macroeconomic and fiscal framework, the development of which was coordinated by the Directorate for Economic Planning and the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The three key challenges are increasing the efficiency of the labor market, improving the business environment through closer cooperation and coordination of all levels of government, and managing public finances.
The preparation of this important document was coordinated by the Directorate for Economic Planning of Bosnia and Herzegovina together with the Ministry of Finance of the Republika Srpska and the FBiH Institute for Development Programming in accordance with their competences, Fena reports.
