Members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina will soon receive new uniforms, as BiH Defense Minister Zukan Helez says, of top quality.
Helez visited the production line for the production of new military uniforms for members of the Armed Forces of BiH in Tešnje with the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colonel General Senad Mašović.
The BiH Ministry of Defense announced that the first batch of 1,700 sets of new military uniforms should be delivered during the summer.
After a two-year program of research and testing and the selection of a completely new fabric and an original camouflage scheme with the characteristics of the Bosnian climate, the contract for the first series with the company from Tešnj was signed in March of this year, worth 1.5 million convertible marks, including VAT value.
“We did everything to pay attention to even the smallest detail and to ensure that the member of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina receives the uniform he deserves, the best and highest quality in the region,” said Helez.
General Mašović particularly emphasized the importance of constant quality control in the production of military uniforms.
