BiH Defense Minister Zukan Helez did not give consent for the landing of a military plane from Hungary in BiH.
As he states, consent was requested for the landing of a military plane at the Sarajevo airport, and then at the Banja Luka airport.
“Why exactly a military plane should have landed at the Banja Luka airport remains unclear, but in the context of the arrival of 70 members of the special anti-terrorist unit of the Hungarian Interior Ministry in support of the RS Interior Ministry, it is certainly symptomatic at this time. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is constantly supporting the president of the smaller Bosnian entity, Milorad Dodik, in his attack and undermining the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am deeply convinced that the arrival of the military plane from Hungary was intended to provide some form of support to Milorad Dodik and the clique gathered around him in the destruction of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Helez stated.
He adds that due to the refusal to give consent for the aforementioned overflight/landing of the military plane, he has been under enormous pressure for the past three days, both from part of the international community and from domestic brokers.
“Nothing is more important than Bosnia and Herzegovina, neither I, nor my position. Those who know me know that there is no pressure that would make me bow down and change my decision. In fact, the greater the pressure, the more confident I am in my decision. Considering that the president of the smaller Bosnian entity Milorad Dodik constantly says that Bosnia and Herzegovina is not a state, that RS is a state, I ask why his military plane did not land in Banja Luka then,” Helez said.
