BiH Defense Minister in Washington: Present the Truth about unconstitutional Activities to the new US Administration

At the beginning of his several-day visit to the United States, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zukan Helez met today with the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Washington Sven Alkalaj and the Military Attaché of Bosnia and Herzegovina Brigadier General Edin Čizmić.

Alkalaj briefed Minister Helez on the activities of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the United States, the efforts of its staff to present the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina to the new American administration, and to inform friends and partners of Bosnia and Herzegovina about the unconstitutional and illegal activities of the RS entity authorities, led by the entity’s President Milorad Dodik.

Helez acknowledged and thanked Ambassador Alkalaj for the role the Embassy played in the process of adopting the Resolution on the Srebrenica Genocide in the UN General Assembly, all with the aim of achieving truth and justice for Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the entire Western Balkans region, so that we can all step together into a better future.

He also thanked Ambassador Alkalaj and Brigadier Čizmić for the efforts they had invested in preparing this visit.

Continuing his stay in the US, Helez will meet with the highest military and political representatives of the US administration and participate in the work of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group sessions, the MoBiH announced.
