The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, will be in London today and tomorrow, where, at the invitation of the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Yvette Cooper, he will participate in the ministerial meeting of the International Coalition to End Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG).
The International Coalition to End Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) is a global initiative aimed at strengthening cooperation between states, international organizations and other partners with the aim of preventing and reducing all forms of violence against women and girls, through improving policies, exchanging good practices and supporting programs aimed at the practical application of research results and proven approaches in preventing and reducing violence.
The presentation of the International Coalition to End Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) is planned as part of the Global Partnerships Conference (GPC), jointly organized by the United Kingdom and the Republic of South Africa.
During his stay in London, Minister Konaković will also hold a number of bilateral meetings.
