BiH FM to participate in the Regional Forum of the Union for the Mediterranean in Barcelona

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, will participate in the 10th Regional Forum of the Union for the Mediterranean under the slogan “Together for a Stronger Euro-Mediterranean Partnership”, which will be held on 28 November 2025 in Barcelona, ​​Kingdom of Spain.

Thirty years after the launch of the Barcelona Process, this important gathering represents an opportunity to renew commitment to the Mediterranean region and open a space for dialogue despite the long-standing challenges in this area.

The gathering will be hosted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Spain, José Manuel Albares, while the Forum will be chaired by the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Safadi.

The Forum, which is being held on the 30th anniversary of the launch of the Barcelona Declaration, will bring together foreign ministers, representatives of civil society, local authorities, regional governments and regional organizations – to engage in a dialogue on how to jointly build a more resilient and prosperous Mediterranean.

On the sidelines of the Forum, Minister Konaković will hold a series of bilateral meetings.
