The session was conducted by NATO General Secretary Andres Fogh Rasmussen in the presence of ministers of defense of countries that are participants in the ISAF Operation in Afghanistan.
The main topics of the session were the activities and challenges by the end of the current mandate of the mission and the focus on the future involvement of NATO members and partners in the future mission “Resolute Support”, which will enter into force on 1 January 2015.
The ministers were informed on the current transfer responsible for security in Afghanistan with the ISAF force to Afghan security forces, as well as with regard to the conclusions that have been brought.
At the margins of the event, the BiH delegation had informal bilateral meetings with delegations of several member and partner countries of NATO, including the delegations of: Montenegro, Georgia, Croatia, Italy, Macedonia and Slovenia.
The BiH delegation of the Ministry of Defense included: Ambassador of BIH to NATO Branimir Jukić, Assistant for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Defense Zoran Šajinović, Acting Head of the Military Mission of BIH to NATO Brigadier Ranko Đukanović, and the Chief of Cabinet of the Minister of Defense Mustafa Sinanović, announced the BIH Ministry of Defense.
