The organizers are the Regional Anticorruption Initiative (RAI) and the Ministry of Justice of Croatia, and the forum would enable all members and partners to share their views on the benefits and future expectations in cooperation with RAI.
Minister Čolak in his address emphasized the full commitment of BiH in the fight against corruption, as well as the willingness for any form of cooperation in all countries in Southeast Europe, and noting the existing cooperation successful.
“The fight against corruption has no alternative and is of great importance to our country. The strengthening of the rule of law, full implementation of EU standards and the development of regional cooperation will ultimately have a major influence on establishing long-term stability, democratic and economic development of countries in Southeast Europe’’, said Minister Čolak.
RAI was established in Sarajevo in 2000 and is an intergovernmental mechanism for resolving issues of corruption as one of the most serious threats to the recovery and development of countries in Southeast Europe.
In addition to BiH, member states are: Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldavia, Montenegro and Romania, announced the BiH Ministry of Justice.
