In the first nine months of this year, exports from Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to 12 billion and 655 million BAM, which is 6.4 percent less than in the same period in 2022.
At the same time, imports amounted to 20 billion and 767 million BAM, which is 1.9 percent less than in the same period of the previous year.
Coverage of imports by exports amounted to 60.9 percent, while the foreign trade deficit amounted to 8 billion and 112 million BAM, according to the data of the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Exports to CEFTA countries amounted to 2 billion and 358 million BAM, which is 5.4 percent less than in the same period in 2022, while imports amounted to 2 billion and 438 million BAM (a decrease of 6 percent). Coverage of imports by exports amounted to 96.7 percent.
Exports to EU countries amounted to 9 billion and 311 million BAM, which is 6.8 percent less than in the same period in 2022, while imports amounted to 12 billion and 172 million BAM (an increase of 2 percent). Coverage of imports by exports amounted to 76.5 percent.
